Brothers & Sisters,

Peace in the Lord Jesus!

It is my hope that all of you are on top of your health and are safe. The past 2 weeks had been stressful for most of us as we watched this virus situation unfolding in our very own watch. Personally and collectively, our hearts have been troubled receiving news and updates about how this virus has affected our very lives. We probably heard the news of some relatives, family members, friends and brothers and sisters in the community who passed away and succumbed to this virus and still a lot more, who are fighting for their lives until now. In the midst of all these, we are still witnessing people who selflessly devout themselves into their craft of caring for people at the very high level of performance despite the lack of needed protection. They continue to walk by faith and not by sight.

As a community, we are trying to be a beacon of light in the darkest moments in the lives of many. We will continue to spread the warmth of God's love in the midst of isolation and confusion. We will strive to live holy and righteous lives according to the standard God has called us to. We will not succumb to discouragement, negativity, doubts and distrust. Let God, let go.

As Pope Francis reminded us yesterday, “Why are you afraid? Have you no faith”? Faith begins when we realise we are in need of salvation. We are not self-sufficient; by ourselves we founder: we need the Lord, like ancient navigators needed the stars. Let us invite Jesus into the boats of our lives. Let us hand over our fears to him so that he can conquer them."

We will stand together and fight this battle not with our own strength, not with our own intelligence, and definitely not with our own agenda. We fight this battle with Christ on our side. Through the recitation of the Holy Rosary as a community, we have felt the divine presence touching not only each one of us, but also those whom we are praying for. As the situation necessitates, WE WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY THE ROSARY AS ONE CFC MARYLAND FAMILY. We are extending this for the whole month of April. We will start scheduling the chapter family ministry CCs, Unit Leaders and Hhold leaders. Pope Francis further reminded us;" Like the disciples in the Gospel we were caught off guard by an unexpected, turbulent storm. We have realized that we are on the same boat, all of us fragile and disoriented, but at the same time important and needed, all of us called to row together, each of us in need of comforting the other.

God bless you all Brothers and Sisters and stay safe and strong.

Attached is the schedule of the FAMILY ROSARY for the month of APRIL. Check your assigned schedule. If you can't make it on the scheduled night, please let me know ASAP. Email or text me SEPARATELY.

NOTE: Since we are using the FACEBOOK LIVE interface, you should have a FACE BOOK ACCOUNT or at least one of your FAMILY MEMBERS. I will send a separate TECHNICAL GUIDELINES/DIRECTIONS to walk you through the SETTING UP to ensure FERVENT and PRAYERFUL recitation of the Holy Rosary.

God bless you all.

Ora et Labora,

Bro. Ronnie/Sis. Belle Chavez
